Buku-Larrngay Arts Museum: Located at Yirrkala, the museum houses a fine collection of Aboriginal bark paintings, carvings and artefacts, including the original Yirrkala Church panels. Open Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, and Saturday from 8am-noon.

Nambara Arts and Crafts Centre: On Melville Bay Road, Nhulunbuy, the Aboriginal owned centre features bark and canvas paintings, carvings, string weaving, shell necklaces and ceramics. Open Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm and Saturday from 9am-noon.
