Established in Darwin in 1987, Northern Gateway Holidays is a division of Northern Gateway Pty. Ltd.

Northern Gateway is the largest privately owned inbound tour designer and tour wholesaler in the Northern Territory. They have won many prestigious Brolga Awards for tourism excellence, as well as being awarded the 1992 Australian Tourism Award for Inbound Tour Operator.

The groups focus is towards all aspects of inbound and wholesale travel from specialist groups, incentives, series programs through to the FIT travellers who want to visit the real Australia. For those seeking an environmental experience we can arrange a camping safari in a variety of remote areas of Australia. We have access to a pool of specialist guides and travel can range from camelback through a wide range of wheeled vehicles to an executive.

Australasian Shore Excursions Northern Gateway has been handling Cruise Ship Shore Excursion Programs since 1989. We have successfully handled ships of all sizes (40 pax up to 1200 pax) and standards (Budget to First Class). We take pride in designing exclusive programs to suit the needs and wants of the customer. In 2002 Northern Gateway undertook a Joint Venture Operation with Pan Pacific Incentives and Tour Contractors to extend its area of operation and offer shore excursions and supporting services to visiting cruise ships across Australian, New Zealand and the Arafura Tourism Zone.
