Travel arrangements and prices detailed on this www Internet site are provided and coordinated by Northern Gateway Holidays a Division of Northern Gateway Pty Ltd ABN 39 130 594 615.

General

Northern Gateway Holidays has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information in this Internet WWW site as at the time of compilation. However, as the relevant accommodation & tour/cruise operators in this brochure supply this information, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in this publication or information as so supplied.

Sales of services as contained in this publication are made by Northern Gateway Holidays, only as an agent for the person, business or company providing the services. Northern Gateway Holidays does not accept responsibility for any changes in price variation of services shown. All services and prices are subject to change without notice.

It is essential that you check with us, or your travel agent, for any changes or variations to the information on this WWW site. This will allow us to advise you, or your agent, of any such changes that we are aware of either before you book your holiday or prior to your departure.

All maps, photographs, illustrations and computer-based graphics are included for general purposes only and are not always indicative of the subject matter. Hotel room photographs (graphics) may not be specific to the actual room occupied. Maps are not to scale.

Validity of Rates

Prices are valid as per the season recorded with the services. All costs shown are in Australian Dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. Accommodation costs are for room only and do not include transfer or breakfast cost unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax. Prices over accommodation block out periods may alter from the prices advertised. Contact us for further details.

Deposits

For bookings exceeding AUD$500.00 a 10% deposit of the total booking value is required within 10 days of receiving confirmation. Bookings confirmed with Odyssey Safaris and Discovery Eco Tours will require 20% deposit.

Final Payment is due 30 days prior to travel. All Bookings made inside 30 days of travel, Payment is due within 72 hours of receiving written confirmation from Northern Gateway Holidays.

For groups larger than 10 a 20% deposit is required upon receiving confirmation from Northern Gateway Holidays. Subject to individual suppliers deposit conditions

Please proceed to our "Secure Payment" form to submit Mastercard or Visa Card details. PLEASE NOTE you must have received your six digit invoice number from Northern Gateway Holidays before proceeding.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and can be via e-mail (info@norgate.com.au), facsimile (+61 8 8941 2815), or by letter. No cancellation will be accepted unless received in writing and received by us directly from you or your travel agent.

• Bookings Cancelled outside 45 days may incur a AUD$55.00 administration fee.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 44 - 29 days incur 10% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 30 - 15 days incur 25% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 14 - 3 days incur 50% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled inside 3 days there will be no refund unless notified otherwise.
  

For Groups Larger than 10

• Bookings Cancelled outside 45 days may incur a AUD$110.00 administration fee.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 44 - 29 days incur 20% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 30 - 15 days incur 30% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled between 14 - 3 days incur 50% charge of itinerary cost.
  
• Bookings Cancelled inside 3 days there will be no refund unless notified otherwise.
  

Cancellation Policy with Voyages Hotels and Resorts (ADHOC and Series Groups)

• 65 days or more 0-100% of rooms cancelled, Nil Cancellation Fee
  
• 60 - 15 days 0-25% of rooms cancelled, Nil Cancellation Fee
  
• 60 - 15 days 26-100% of rooms cancelled, charge of security deposit for cancelled nights
  
• 14 - 0 days 0-100% of rooms cancelled, confirmed rate for cancelled night charge applies

Note: pre payment is due within 28days following fate of confirmation or 35 days prior to arrival day, which ever is the earlier $30.00 per room per night

Amendment Fees

If the booking is amended after full payment has been received and final documents have been issued an administration fee of $55.00 per booking will be charged. This is in addition to any cancellation fees according to the above policy and operators on charges.

Late Bookings

If it is necessary for travel documents to be sent with less than 5 days notice then there will be a $15.00 charge for the cost of an airbag.
Change of Itinerary after holiday has commenced

Any alteration or cancellation of services after the holiday has commenced can incur penalties.

Accommodation

Accommodation is as specified in accommodation section(s) on this WWW site. All costs are as shown in Australian Dollars. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case of the accommodation operator overbooking their property or for any reason beyond our control.

Single Supplement Costs

If not shown in your selected accommodation cost, this is available on application.

Accommodation Ratings

Are based on our own inspections in conjunction with existing AAA (Australian Automobile Association) ratings. Our ratings are for guidance only and are not to be construed as AAA endorsement.

Tours and Cruises

Tour/Cruise/Driving Itineraries

These operators reserve the right to alter itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond their control.

Car, Campervan and 4WD Rentals

Rental Car costs and conditions of hire are as shown on our WWW site.

Prices DO NOT Include

Airfares (unless specified) airport taxes, any costs incurred en route to and from the destination, meals (unless specified), alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, and personal services not specified as being included in costs with information on this WWW site.

Air Travel

The conditions and penalties applicable to booking/altering/cancelling airfares vary greatly according to type of fare selected. Please check thoroughly with your travel agent.
Domestic Airfares in Australia

Most airfares can be used in conjunction with your holiday (vacation) package. Special and discounted airfares are available, many with limited life and application for your travel. These airfares have strict eligibility conditions that apply and are subject to availability at all times. In the case of overseas visitors, considerable discounts up to 40% off published domestic airfares are available. These fares include such savings as the KBD40 - "Discover Australia Airfare" (purchasable in Australia). Also available for overseas visitors is the "Australia Explorer" airfares pass minimum of two flight must be purchased at a time. (This fare can only be purchased outside of Australia at the same time as your international air tickets). *If overnight expenses are incurred en route to non-availability of same day air travel, these costs are the responsibility of the passenger.

QANTAS Airways acts as air carrier only, and whilst travelling with Qantas Airways you are governed by conditions as stipulated on your ticket. Qantas Airways carry no responsibility for statements in this WWW site relating to any tour operators or their features. Northern Gateway Holidays indemnifies Qantas Airways against any claim, action, loss or damage which may be made against Qantas Airways or which Qantas Airways may incur, as a result of any misdescription or misleading information contained on this WWW site.

Travel Insurance

We strongly suggest that you take out travel insurance. Your travel agent can also help you select this. It is important that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfare(s). Please contact us for more information.

Any information Northern Gateway obtains from the Customer or its representative such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses, demographic information (region/country from), interests, taste or preference information, and the like, voluntarily submitted by a Customer is necessary for Northern Gateway‘s business purposes or providing the Customer with Northern Gateway’s goods and services, and may be used in answering any queries the Customer may have; considering the Customer’s application for credit or to become a Customer; performing internal administration and operations; developing, improving and marketing the Northern Gateway products and services; and any directly related purposes.

Northern Gateway will not disclose any personal information to any other party without the consent of the Customer except to the Suppliers, a related entity or adviser of Northern Gateway or where Northern Gateway is otherwise required by law to do so. The Customer may access the personal information on written request to Northern Gateway.

Security Policy

We have instituted safeguards to check that our internal procedures meet our high policy standards. We also use our best efforts to be sure that third parties who work with us agree to protect personal information that they must access in order to serve our site and our Customers.
